The Progress Channel was created as a way to engage the greater Rhode Island area LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC Communities with issues, information, and entertainment that is representative of our cultures, especially where those communities intersect.

During election seasons, The Progress Report with Dion Sage will focus on progressive candidates giving them a chance to directly address community issues. Outside of the election seasons, we will focus on community leaders of all sorts in the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities.

Dion Sage was asked to host our flagship show, The Progress Report, because of his community involvement and passion for the community. A former Mr. Gay Rhode Island and current Minister of Powerhouse Church of Boston, Dion balances his spirituality with his LGBTQIA+ identity. He does not shy away from tough conversations and topics and will talk to anyone at all. Dion is also a partner with The Progress Channel team, adding valuable insight and passion as we learn and grow.

The Progress Report is live Tuesday nights at 8:00 PM

The Progress Channel added Tea Wit Taylor in December, 2020. Tea Wit Taylor is a weekly, live podcast style show that covers pop culture, lifestyle, fashion, and social issues. Taylor uses his relaxed style to talk about serious or fun topics with his guests and the audience.

Tea Wit Taylor is live Friday evenings at 6:00 PM

Our team of producers, hosts, guests, engineers, contributors, and analysts are all members of the LGBTQIA+ community and were chosen for their unique views as well as the level of passion and dedication they bring to the project.

Our overall mission is to ensure the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities have access to information on issues impacting their lives as well as community-driven entertainment.
